VIP Perks, KC Meeting IncentivesThe Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association is excited to announce the launch of our new online incentive program for meeting plannersVIP (Very Important Planner) Perks. This exclusive promotion is designed to present meeting incentives to planners through a unique online experience.

The promotion targets both one-hotel and multiple-hotel meetings being held in 2011 and 2012. The CVA has developed a special section within MeetKC.com (very similar to the leisure special offers program) to highlight the VIP Perks promotion.

The initial phase of Sunsational KC, the KCCVA's $1.2 million summer marketing campaign, officially debuts on VisitKC.com on Monday, April 4.

If you haven't already loaded your summer special offer(s) on VisitKC.com, we encourage you to do so by April 1. The summer campaign—which includes television, radio, print and online creative—prompts visitors to go to VisitKC.com for hundreds of Sunsational discounts.

Last year's summer marketing campaign produced the following outstanding results: 82 million total marketing impressions, more than 1.2 million unique visitors to VisitKC.com, 200,000 member web referrals and 92,000 coupon downloads. Don't miss out on the opportunity to take part in this free promotion in 2011.

CVA Marketing Presentation to Hotel & Lodging Association

Members of the KCCVA marketing team recently presented at the Hotel & Lodging Association of Greater Kansas City's March luncheon. The CVA provided an overview of how hotels can take advantage of the upcoming summer marketing campaign - Sunsational KC - by loading special offers and packages. The CVA also presented how its marketing hotels in the CVA's new and existing digital channels (website, mobile, microsites and affiliate programs).


KC launches industry-leading mobile website

The Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association (KCCVA) is launching a mobile version of its website. The new mobile project features events, special offers and information on all the necessary tools for planning a trip to Kansas City. The new mobile site is compatible with most Smartphones, including Android, Blackberry, iPhone, Palm and Windows Mobile.
